Privacy
This describes what actually happens in our systems, not what is merely permitted. If something here is unclear, call us and ask.
What we collect when you order
- Your name and email address.
- The wording you type onto a personalized item.
- An optional classroom, teacher or team name, used only to sort the delivery.
- Whether your order is paid, refunded or fulfilled, and its total.
What we deliberately do not collect
- Card numbers. Payment happens on Stripe's own checkout page. Card details are never sent to our servers and we could not store them if we wanted to.
- Bank details, from anyone. Groups are paid by mailed check. We store a payee name and a mailing address, and nothing else.
- Information about children. A parent may type a child's first name onto a keepsake. We do not ask for, and have no field for, a child's age, birthday, classroom placement or anything else about them.
- Tracking or advertising cookies. There are none on this site.
Who can see your order
Us, and nobody else. The group running the fundraiser gets a dashboard showing totals and item counts — it contains no buyer names, no email addresses and no personalization text. When we deliver, the packing list naturally shows which items belong to which family, because otherwise they could not be handed out.
Who we share it with
Only the services needed to complete your order: Stripe for payment, Amazon Web Services for hosting and email delivery. We do not sell data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not add order email addresses to any marketing list.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Personalization text is kept while we may still need to reprint an item.
We intend to purge personalization text automatically once an order is long fulfilled. That automatic purge is not switched on yet, so we are not claiming it as current practice. This page will be updated when it is.
Your choices
Email us or call to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete what we are not required to keep. We will not ask you to justify the request.
