How it works, start to finish

About seven weeks from first conversation to a check in your hands, and most of that is the fundraiser running itself.

  1. Week 0

    We talk

Fifteen minutes on the phone or by email. We agree which keepsakes suit your group, the prices, your share, your closing date, and whether orders come to you in bulk or ship to families. Nothing is binding yet.

  2. Week 0

    We put it in writing

You get a short written agreement naming the share, the dates, the products and the payout. Your page cannot open until that is signed and on file — it is a requirement, not a formality.

  3. Week 1

    Your page goes live

We build your page with your name and logo, and send a printed sign with a QR code and an NFC tag for your front desk. The sign works for every future fundraiser too, because the link never changes.

  4. Weeks 1–4

    Supporters order

Families scan the sign or follow the link, personalize their keepsake, and pay online. A goal bar shows everyone how close you are. Nobody handles cash and nobody fills in an order form.

  5. Deadline

    The page closes itself

At your closing date the page stops taking orders automatically and shows the total raised. There is no late order to chase and no cut-off to enforce.

  6. Week 5

    We print and deliver

Everything is printed, checked for spelling, packed by family with a packing list, and delivered to you in one go. Local groups in Lake County get it hand-delivered.

  7. Week 7

    Your check arrives

After a short refund window we calculate your share, mail a check to the address on file, and record the check number and date. We never ask for bank details.

What your group does, in total

That is the whole list. No order forms, no cash envelopes, no inventory, no returns, and nothing to pay at any point.

What we do

Things worth knowing up front

Orders arrive after the deadline, not before

We print the whole fundraiser in one run. That is what removes per-family shipping costs, and it means nothing arrives while the fundraiser is still open. If you need items by a specific date, tell us before we set the deadline.

Items are made to order

Every piece is printed with the wording a family typed, so there is no stock and nothing to return. It also means a misspelling that reaches printing has to be reprinted rather than exchanged — we check, but tell us early if you spot one.

We are a for-profit company

Keepsake Fundraising is operated by Cloud Development Group LLC. We are not a charity and we do not present ourselves as one. An agreed percentage of each item's price goes to your group, it is stated in writing beforehand, and it is shown on your page next to the prices so families can see it.
